Join the Providence chapter of the Jericho Movement and supporters of the Free Michael Kimble Campaign for a very timely screening of The Alabama Solution, a newly released documentary shot with contraband cellphone footage that exposes the horrific abuses within the Alabama prison system.

The documentary features incarcerated activists Robert Earl Council and Melvin Ray, co-founders of the Free Alabama Movement, an inmate rights group that organized one of the largest prison strikes in u.s. history, and in which political prisoner Michael Kimble has played a crucial role.

Following the screening, we will be hosting a live discussion with several prisoner solidarity organizers as well as local organizers from Alabama. All proceeds from this workshop will go toward Michael Kimble to support his commissary fund, legal expenses, and other needs.
